Jaw to floor. This vintage Givenchy from the iconic SF department store l.magnin is absolutely ravishing and in immaculate condition. A simple, drapey midi-maxi dress style meets show-stopping details. The armhole's unique cut and open keyhole back give it a unique timestamp in 70s fashion history. The fabric tag is illegible, but it feels like a synthetic blend—featuring pink, orange, red, purple, lavendar, and fuchsia stripes. Very disco era circa Studio 54. I'm seeing Cher, Jerry Hall, and obviously you in this hitting the dance floor—or pairing it with a woven basket purse and looking chic for the Farmer's Market to brunch to night out pipeline.
It comes with a fabric belt and zips at the back up to the waist, then has a keyhole opening at the upper back. The fabric is somewhat sheer, but the darker colors help mask undergarments. Zero visible flaws, other than one of the eyelets at the back collar is missing, but a very simple fix. Still functions perfectly as is.
