This stunning lace maxi skirt was likely crafted in the early 1900s. It features traditional thin white cotton embellished with delicate pintuck pleats and rows of intricate inserted lace trim. The lace is a sight to behold, as they simply do not make material like this, with such intricate hand-made details, anymore. The skirt is sheer as it was originally worn as an undergarment along with heavier walking skirts to provide structure and volume. Today, it's the ideal boho maxi skirt: lightweight, gorgeous high-quality cotton, detailed lace trim. It is absolutely one of a kind.
It does show some signs of wear—considering it's over 100 years old—but the stains are minimal and don't take away from its beauty. There is some discoloration at the hem and back closure.
